Harvest Food Outreach helps families & their kids in FL. The people that we see almost every day are working full time hobs, but aren't making enough to cover the bills. That's where we come in!

There is a misconception that when a family ends up needing help, and is in financial crisis, that getting these needed resources is easy, and the government and community programs they are trying to access are readily available to them. The truth is that programs like Medicaid, food stamps, and other programs to help our neighbors in need can be very hard to access and take advantage of. Many families that are struggling because of the current economic downturn have never had to seek assistance, so they have no idea how to 'work the system; and get their needs met. This causes unnecessary pain and suffering for the children and families needing a hand up in their time of economic hardship.

Harvest Food Outreach has a variety of programs to help. We offer a Clinic for kids who are under- or uninsured, a Crisis Center to help families, a Food Pantry for families who have to choose between lights or heat & food, & Education & Employment Assistance.
